Books deserve better than a shelf

An interior design project for bookshop spaces within shopping malls — a format that presents its own contradictions. A bookshop is slow; a mall is fast. A bookshop invites lingering; a mall demands movement.

Our role was to design spaces that created their own atmosphere within a challenging context. The visual identity belonged to the client; the spatial experience was ours to shape.
